Cost Accountant
LHH is seeking a
Cost Accountant
to join a dynamic manufacturing organization. This role is critical in analyzing costs, assessing profitability, and providing strategic insights to optimize efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, identify cost reduction opportunities, and ensure accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities: Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard vs. actual costs. Maintain and improve cost accounting systems and documentation. Collect and analyze data on raw materials, inventory, and labor costs. Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost audits. Participate in cross-functional projects to improve cost efficiency.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 35 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. ERP experience (SAP preferred) Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and GAAP. Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.

Compensation $100,000-$130,000
