Project Manager- Contracts Location:
Roanoke, VA (On-site; relocation assistance available) About the Role We are seeking a
Project Manager -
Contracts
to join our growing team in Roanoke, Virginia. This individual will lead contract execution and oversight across major industrial and utility projects, ensuring all contractual obligations are clearly understood, communicated, and managed from award through closeout. This position functions as a
Project Manager for the Contracts Team , working cross-functionally with engineering, project management, sales, procurement, and legal to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and adherence to customer terms. Key Responsibilities Serve as the
primary point of contact
for contract review, negotiation, and administration from proposal through project completion. Manage all
contractual deliverables , ensuring terms, milestones, and obligations are tracked and fulfilled. Interpret and follow detailed contract requirements, including flow-down clauses, change orders, payment schedules, insurance, and performance guarantees. Support project teams in understanding and adhering to contract terms, proactively identifying risks or deviations. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure all contract-related actions are documented and communicated effectively. Prepare and maintain accurate contract records, logs, and summaries for leadership reporting. Assist with contract closeout, claims management, and dispute resolution processes. Partner with legal and commercial teams to standardize templates and improve internal contract processes. Qualifications Bachelors degree in
Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or related field ; PMP certification preferred. 5+ years of experience
in contract management or project management roles supporting large industrial, construction, or manufacturing projects. Experience with
large-scale clients
preferred. Strong understanding of
contract language, commercial risk, and project lifecycles . Proven ability to manage complex, multi-party agreements and drive compliance in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills. Must live in or be willing to
relocate to Roanoke, VA
