Role Overview
As a Business Development Analyst, you will support senior bankers in identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and preparing client-facing materials. Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research on industries, companies, and market trends to identify potential clients and strategic opportunities. Prepare industry reports and competitive analyses for internal and client use.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Assist in sourcing and qualifying prospective clients for M&A, capital raising, and advisory services. Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and track pipeline progress.
Pitch & Presentation Support: Collaborate with senior team members to develop pitch books, proposals, and marketing materials. Prepare company profiles and financial summaries for client meetings.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor business development metrics and prepare reports for leadership. Support strategic planning with data-driven insights.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. 0-2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or business development (internship experience acceptable). Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation concepts. Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, PitchBook).
