QXO QXO is growing —and we’re looking for a strategic, people-first Human Resources Manager to help shape the future of our workforce. If you're a HR professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and can balance big-picture strategy with day-to-day execution, we want to hear from you. What You’ll Do As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll be the go-to HR business partner for our operations—supporting both exempt and non-exempt employees across multiple locations. You’ll lead with empathy, drive engagement, and ensure compliance while building a culture where people thrive. Key Responsibilities: • Lead HR operations across union and non-union environments • Investigate employee relations issues and resolve conflicts with care and compliance • Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal employment laws • Coach and support managers with employee interactions • Drive workforce planning, talent development, and succession strategies • Champion employee engagement and retention initiatives • Lead annual HR processes (performance reviews, salary planning, talent reviews) • Manage leaves of absence, transitional duty, and timekeeping/payroll issues • Provide compensation guidance for new hires, promotions, and transfers • Collaborate with Safety Managers to support workplace safety programs • Maintain HR policies, organizational charts, and employee directories • Contribute to company-wide HR initiatives and culture-building efforts What You Bring We’re looking for a confident, collaborative HR leader who can build trust, influence across all levels, and drive results. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: • 8+ years of full-scope HR management experience • Experience in a Fortune 500 or best-in-class HR organization (preferred) • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (preferred) • Strong employee relations and labor relations background • Proven ability to lead through change and manage complex projects • Excellent coaching, communication, and influencing skills • Strategic mindset with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach • Experience in high-performance, matrixed environments • Willingness to travel up to 25% Seniority level
