What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support Long-Term Care Claims leadership with reports, data, and analytical insights
- Collaborate with business partners to gather business requirements and develop key performance indicators dashboards
- Conceptualize, create, iterate, and automate dashboards in PowerBI for tracking metrics
- Build and maintain reporting using tools such as SQL, Spotfire, and PowerBI
- Participate in strategic initiative projects by providing insight and data analysis
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical discipline
- 2-5 years of professional experience developing SQL code in Oracle or Microsoft SQL
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends
- Strong knowledge of managing and analyzing structured data using Microsoft Excel, SQL, and/or Python
- Proficiency in writing SQL, interpreting, enhancing, and optimizing established SQL queries
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the insurance or healthcare industry
- Familiarity with data visualization tools beyond PowerBI
- Ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with senior management
