What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support Long-Term Care Claims leadership with reports, data, and analytical insights
- Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and develop dashboards in PowerBI
- Build and maintain reporting using SQL, Spotfire, PowerBI, and other tools
- Handle ad-hoc requests from internal and external parties in alignment with business processes
- Recommend process changes based on data analysis and trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical discipline
- 2-5 years of professional experience developing SQL code in Oracle or Microsoft SQL
- Strong knowledge of managing and analyzing structured data using Microsoft Excel, SQL, and/or Python
- Proficiency in writing SQL and optimizing established SQL queries
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with critical thinking abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with PowerBI dashboard creation and automation
- Familiarity with data visualization tools beyond PowerBI
- Background in the insurance or healthcare industry
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior management
- Experience in data analysis for strategic initiatives
