Key Responsibilities: Strategic Account Development:
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within target industries, actively expanding the client base. Relationship Management:
Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers, serving as their primary technical and sales contact. Consultative Selling:
Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand client challenges and provide expert product recommendations and customized fastener solutions that meet specific application requirements. Technical Product Expertise:
Act as a subject matter expert on various fastener types, materials, specifications, and applications, guiding customers through complex technical decisions. Price and Contract Negotiation:
Expertly negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve mutually beneficial agreements and secure profitable sales. End-to-End Order Management:
Oversee the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry to post-delivery support, including accurate order entry, tracking, expediting, and resolving any fulfillment issues. Market Intelligence:
Continuously monitor industry trends, market demands, new product innovations, and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities and inform business strategy. Sales Performance:
Consistently meet or exceed aggressive sales targets, revenue goals, and key performance indicators. Inventory Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, procurement) to forecast demand and ensure optimal inventory levels to support customer orders efficiently. Customer Satisfaction:
Proactively ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication, responsiveness, and problem resolution. Qualifications: Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of progressive B2B sales experience specifically selling various types of industrial fasteners (bolts, screws, nuts, anchors, rivets, specialty fasteners, etc.). Industry Knowledge:
Proven track record of selling into and understanding the specific needs of industries such as manufacturing, construction, solar, and/or automotive. Technical Acumen:
Strong, demonstrated technical knowledge of fastener specifications, materials, manufacturing processes, and applications. Sales Proficiency:
Exceptional sales acumen with a proven ability to prospect, qualify, present, negotiate, and close complex sales cycles. Communication Excellence:
Outstanding verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport and influence decision-makers. Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify client challenges and propose effective, value-driven solutions. CRM Proficiency:
Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing pipelines, customer data, and sales activities. Organizational Skills:
Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills to manage a high volume of accounts and sales activities. Self-Motivated & Team Player:
Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative while also collaborating effectively with internal teams (engineering, operations, customer service). Education:
