Job Title: SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager Compensation: $150K -$180K base salary DOE, discretionary bonus, and full benefits package Location: In-Office 2-3 days onsite in Downtown Chicago, WFH 2-3 days Lead external reporting and technical accounting for a complex, multi-entity organization with accelerated filing requirements and ongoing expansion. High visibility to senior finance leadership. Prepare and review 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, footnotes, and supporting schedules Manage XBRL tagging and accuracy Research and document technical matters including ASC 606, ASC 842, and other emerging topics Draft technical memos and internal accounting policies Coordinate with external auditors on quarterly reviews and the annual audit Support close and consolidation activities tied to external reporting Maintain SOX 404 controls related to reporting and technical accounting Partner with internal teams on accounting impacts of contracts, transactions, and initiatives Public accounting with SEC registrant exposure, Public/private mix with recent SEC reporting experience ~ Experience with global or multi-location structures ERP experience with major platforms Background supporting M&A or integration activity
