Base pay range $87,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Jacobi, a 457-bed teaching hospital affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, is renowned for its Level 1 Trauma Center, Burn Center, regional Stroke Center, Surgical ICU, and specialized services including the region’s only multi-person hyperbaric chamber. Complementing its inpatient care, Jacobi’s state‑of‑the‑art Ambulatory Care Pavilion supports a modern outpatient experience. Additionally, North Central Bronx, a 215-bed community hospital, specializes in women’s and children’s health, behavioral health, and community‑based outpatient care, safely welcoming more than 800 babies annually through its Labor and Delivery service. Duties & Responsibilities
Monitors hospital performance to assure compliance with professional standards.
Directs and coordinates the implementation of hospitals’ representation and participation in Professional Standards Review Organization.
Monitors utilization review committees in all health facilities.
Reviews legislation and implementing administrative procedures and policies of Professional Standards Review Organization in New York City.
Represents the Corporation in negotiations and discussions with P.S.R.O. representatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Health Care Administration, Public Health or a related discipline; and four (4) years of experience at a responsible management and administrative level; or
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as listed in 1 above; and five (5) years of experience as described in 1 above.
