The role collaborates with product, sales, marketing, finance, collections, legal, compliance, and engineering to meet business objectives.
Essential Responsibilities
Lead and manage data science projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and reporting systems to support data analysis and decision‑making.
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
Ensure data quality and integrity through regular audits and validation processes.
Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Expected Qualifications
5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Responsibilities and Preferred Qualifications
Implement credit risk strategies that grow US & Canada BNPL products responsibly.
Design tests to continuously learn about our customers.
Align priorities with relevant stakeholders across the business.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, product, and engineering teams to ensure policies are implemented on time with appropriate monitoring and controls.
Take a proactive approach to influence decisions that impact all aspects of the application funnel.
Experience managing credit risk for a BNPL or installment loan product.
Proficiency in SQL and Python or a similar language.
Pay U.S. national annual pay range: $152,500 to $262,350. Compensation may include annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits. For more information, visit
