San Bernardino County's high‑impact Performance, Education & Resource Centers (PERC) team delivers a multitude of complex services, functioning as change agents for County and departmental operations. We are seeking a dynamic Organizational Development Business Partner (ODBP) to serve as a high‑level consultant for leadership positions countywide. Organizational Development Business Partners serve as executive coaches, guiding leadership through organizational changes, fostering their leadership skills, and enhancing their ability to meet current climates and facilitate impactful change. They may work with leaders who are new in their role and seeking leadership development, or with established leaders striving to refine their performance and enhance their leadership effectiveness. ODBPs are experts at building professional relationships, identifying skill gaps, and guiding leaders to tailor their style to align with the County vision for workplace excellence. The incumbent will leverage leadership philosophies and psychometric assessment outcomes to establish development plans for individual leaders based on their needs and goals, delivered in a personalized setting. Additionally, ODBPs will develop standard training programs, workshops, and various curricula for executives focused on enhancing the learner’s communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, trust building techniques, emotional intelligence, team building, and other valuable topics. Qualifications Education
A completed bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field. Degrees or coursework completed outside of the U.S. must be accompanied by an evaluation report from a reputable credential evaluation service indicating equivalency.
Experience
Three (3) or more years of highly responsible, full‑time equivalent experience developing and deploying Human Resource (HR) strategies to align with an organization’s overall business objectives, including at least eighteen (18) months of professional experience consulting and coaching leadership. Coaching is defined as providing direct, professional development training and guidance to achieve specific personal or organizational goals. Coaching must be provided to supervisory level or above.
Desired: Experience interpreting psychometrics and/or deploying formal leadership philosophies and models to enhance leadership development trainings or programs.
