Senior Data Architect & Analytics Lead – HHSC CDA Team Location: Austin, TX

Hiring Type: W2 Candidates Only.

Visa: Open to any visa type with valid work authorization in the USA. Texas local candidates only.

Our client, INNOVIT USA INC, is seeking a seasoned data architect to advance the data infrastructure and analytics initiatives for the HHSC CDA team. The role focuses on designing robust data structures, implementing data warehouses, and leveraging advanced analytics to support decision-making within healthcare.

Responsibilities

Design and build relational databases and develop strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and implementation of database solutions.

Clean and maintain databases by removing and deleting obsolete data, ensuring optimal performance.

Design, develop, and manipulate database management systems, data warehouses, and multidimensional databases.

Ensure compliance with enterprise data standards, including creating and maintaining a centralized registry of metadata.

Apply EIR Accessibility standards and assistive technologies to database administration interfaces and reporting tools.>

Lead the design and implementation of robust data structures to support analytics projects.

Develop comprehensive database and table designs for optimized data storage and retrieval.

Util advanced analytics tools and techniques to extract insights that facilitate decision-making.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align data strategies with organizational goals.

Provide thought leadership on data modeling and analytics best practices.

Qualifications

10+ Years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing on‑premises and cloud technologies.

10+ Years of experience with business intelligence and big data solutions.

10+ Years of experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR, CCDA, HL‑7).

10+ Years of proven experience leading and managing advanced analytics projects.

10+ Years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

10+ Years of experience developing, deploying, and managing applications and data storage on these platforms.

10+ Years of strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices.

10+ Years of proficiency in SQL and other database technologies.

10+ Years of knowledge of advanced analytics tools and strategies.

10+ Years of strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

10+ Years of ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.

10+ Years of proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, including cloud‑based data storage, security, and deployment best practices.

10+ Years of experience developing and maintaining enterprise data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support analytics and reporting.

10+ Years of evaluating and integrating emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics in healthcare.

10+ Years of working closely with data engineers, developers, and analysts to ensure seamless data accessibility and usability.

10+ Years of experience with ETL tools, data integration platforms, and APIs.

10+ Years of experience with EHR integration, APIs, and real‑time streaming.

10+ Years of experience architecting and designing ETL pipelines using Informatica tools.

10+ Years of designing and modeling data for cloud‑based data architecture solutions using Snowflake as the primary data platform.

Preferred – 8+ Years of hands‑on expertise in Python and/or Java/Scala.

Preferred – 8+ Years of experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on‑premise‑to‑cloud migration roadmaps.

Preferred – 8+ Years of healthcare industry experience.

Preferred – 8+ Years of fundamental understanding of Information Management principles, IT processes, SDLC, architecture, and technologies.

Preferred – 8+ Years of consulting and facilitation skills.

Preferred – 8+ Years of customer‑focused communication across all levels.

Preferred – 8+ Years of proactive leadership style, self‑starter, strong attention to detail.

Preferred – 3+ Years of experience with TOGAF, Cloud Solution Architecture on Azure/AWS/Google Cloud, and/or certification.

Preferred – 3+ Years of experience in Texas or other state eligibility system.

Salary $120,000.00 – $138,000.00 (based on experience) – Austin, TX.
