Why This Role
This is a high-visibility Senior Accounting Manager opportunity for someone looking to step into a leadership role within a complex, public company. You’ll work closely with senior finance leadership, gain exposure to technical accounting and SEC reporting, and help scale processes as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities:
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Review and oversee general ledger activity across multiple legal entities
Assist with technical accounting research and documentation
Support consolidations and intercompany accounting
Partner with Financial Reporting on public company requirements, audits, and SOX compliance
Assist with equity and stock-based compensation accounting
Drive process improvements, automation, and systems enhancements
Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors
Mentor and support members of the accounting team
Qualifications
Active CPA required
Big 4 public accounting experience required
5+ years of experience, including hands‑on management experience
Combination of public accounting and industry experience preferred
Experience working in multi‑entity, complex organizations
Life sciences industry experience strongly preferred
Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative public company environment
