Why This Role

This is a high-visibility Senior Accounting Manager opportunity for someone looking to step into a leadership role within a complex, public company. You’ll work closely with senior finance leadership, gain exposure to technical accounting and SEC reporting, and help scale processes as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Review and oversee general ledger activity across multiple legal entities
• Assist with technical accounting research and documentation
• Support consolidations and intercompany accounting
• Partner with Financial Reporting on public company requirements, audits, and SOX compliance
• Assist with equity and stock-based compensation accounting
• Drive process improvements, automation, and systems enhancements
• Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors
• Mentor and support members of the accounting team

Qualifications

• Active CPA required
• Big 4 public accounting experience required
• 5+ years of experience, including hands‑on management experience
• Combination of public accounting and industry experience preferred
• Experience working in multi‑entity, complex organizations
• Life sciences industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative public company environment
