Finance Manager, AWS Sales Finance
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Finance Manager to join our AWS Sales Finance team. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with business leaders, develop financial models, and support strategic decision‑making across Amazon.
Key Responsibilities
Lead short‑ and long‑term financial planning.
Build financial frameworks and models for new business ideas.
Provide strategic partnership to key business initiatives and investments.
Present financial summaries and business insights to senior management.
Tighten internal controls for program spending and revenue accrual.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of building accurate financial models and analysis that drive business impact.
MBA, CPA, or other advanced degrees.
Knowledge of SQL/ETL and experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos).
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
7+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets for business decision‑making.

Compensation for this role ranges from $85,900 to $179,500 per year, depending on geographic market.
