Audit Manager
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to oversee our audit department and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will lead audit engagements, develop audit plans, and provide strategic guidance to clients. This position requires a strong background in audit and accounting, as well as excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
Develop and execute audit plans and strategies for clients.
Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing training and guidance.
Review and analyze financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and compliance.
Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to clients.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in audit and accounting.
CPA certification preferred.
Experience with CCH software is a plus.
Familiarity with 990 forms and non-profit organizations is desirable.
Knowledge of partnership and government audits is a plus.
Experience with single audits and employee benefit plans is advantageous.
