Overview GovCIO is currently hiring a highly experienced Senior Network Architect/Engineer to provide expert analysis and consultation in support of telecommunications services for the U.S. Coast Guard, as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). This position will be located in Alexandria, VA and will be a hybrid remote role.
Responsibilities
Deliver expert analysis and consultation on legacy GSA contracts including Networx, Washington Interagency Telecommunications Service (WITS), and GSA Regional Services.
Provide in-depth knowledge and support for GSA billing systems, including E-MORRIS and TOPS E-Billing.
Advise the government on submission and management of billing disputes to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
Support GSA contract transition activities, including:
Managing GSA inventories and tools.
Tracking services through new contract ramp‑up and old contract close‑out.
Collaborate with major telecommunications vendors (e.g., Verizon Business, AT&T, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery and compliance with contractual obligations.
Provide strategic recommendations to optimize network architecture and transition planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
10+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications network architecture and federal contract management
Clearance Required: Must be clearable up to an active Secret clearance
Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent (preferred)
