About The Role The Chief Client Office (CCO) proactively engages customers, industry groups and key stakeholders to create measurable value for S&P Global and a better customer experience. Within the CCO organization, the Client Coverage team accelerates growth through strategic engagement and partnership with key accounts. The team drives cross‑functional collaboration and alignment to deliver holistic solutions, drive long‑term revenue growth, and maximize customer success.

As the segment lead for Ecosystems Partners, you will be a part of the Client Coverage leadership team, driving the strategy and execution of business initiatives within the Ecoystem segment and will lead a team of global account managers. You will increase growth and deepen engagement and partnerships through cross‑divisional collaboration, deliver a coordinated sales approach to deliver the S&P Global differentiation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans for the Ecosystem segment that align with the company's overall goals. Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in industry. Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue new client relationships.

Partner and collaborate across various internal teams (e.g., sales, divisional account management, marketing, product development) to ensure cohesive execution of strategies and initiatives that meet client needs.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure segment performance. Regularly analyze data to assess progress against goals and adjust strategies as necessary.

Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure profitable deals. Reduce contractual and commercial friction to improve customer experience.

Lead and coach a team of high‑performing professionals. Provide guidance on best practices in client engagement and operational efficiency.

Contribute to budgeting and planning for the segment, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.

Compensation and Benefits For US candidates, the anticipated base salary range is $177,000 to $345,000. Final base salary will be determined by geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.

15+ years of experience in a commercial leadership role with deep knowledge across the Sell‑side sector (e.g., commercial banking, sales & trading, investment management, wealth management and fund administration) and cross‑divisional understanding across SPGI. Proven track record in managing large accounts or business segments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship management.

Strategic thinker with a focus on results and performance improvement.

Superior people leadership skills. Able to coach, mentor, and develop talent with a focus on continual learning.

Innovative mindset, with commitment to drive results.

Data and metrics driven. Able to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations. Considers best practices and lessons learned to evaluate solutions.

Makes decisions after analyzing multiple sources, internal and external. Solves problems using in-depth industry expertise.
