The Team : The Office of the Chief of Staff for S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) supports S&P DJI’s strategic initiatives by coordinating engagement with key stakeholders including the Board, S&P Global Executive Committee, and S&P DJI Operating Committee. The team works closely with the CEO and executive leadership to define the company’s vision and strategy and supports business initiatives focused on strategy planning, top‑line growth, operations, and people.

Responsibilities and Impact This role partners with business leaders across S&P DJI to shape its strategy. Report directly to the Strategy Planning Lead and support strategic initiatives including Quarterly Business Reviews, KPI Scorecards, Market/Competitive Research, and creation of OpCo/Leadership materials. You will participate in global projects, leverage S&P Global’s GenAI tools, and develop wide expertise across product, commercial, and operations.

Strategy Planning : Create key strategy planning materials and facilitate reporting of strategy progress, including execution of initiatives and organization health metrics (OKRs, KPIs).

Research & Analysis : Assist with research on trends, industries, competitors, and markets to understand S&P DJI’s environment and capture internal insights.

M&A Pipeline : Identify and evaluate target companies for inorganic growth and collaborate with the M&A community to share insights and feedback.

M&A Integration : Support M&A processes from target screening through valuation, negotiation, due diligence, and post‑merger integration, ensuring senior leadership is informed.

Client Briefings : Support the CEO’s preparation for client meetings by collaborating with commercial teams to create briefing documents highlighting client health, existing business, and future growth opportunities.

Technology Integration : Learn and adopt new technologies to enhance strategic planning and execution.

Compensation and Benefits (US candidates only) Base Salary Range : $83,313 – $126,774 (geographic location, experience, skill set, training, licenses, certifications).

What We’re Looking For Basic Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.

2–3 years of experience in financial services, professional services, or related field.

Track record of delivering multiple projects independently.

Expert proficiency in MS Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.

Excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities.

Clear strategic narrative communication in PowerPoint with slide design skills and attention to detail.

Strong written, verbal, and presenting communication skills.

Self‑motivated worker with modest manager guidance.

Ability to deliver results with short lead‑times.

Additional Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in AI‑driven research, machine learning applications, or analytics tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
