Senior Trial Attorney (Remote - Delaware)
Allstate is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to lead the defense of bodily injury, property damage, subrogation, and Allstate financial litigation cases. The role requires preparation and conduct of hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, depositions, and supplemental motions, as well as the provision of legal counsel to business units.
Key Responsibilities
Represent insured individuals and Allstate in bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, subrogation, and financial cases.
Prepare for and conduct hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
Draft and present pre‑ and post‑trial motions.
Collaborate with colleagues to manage calendars and resolve conflicts.
Provide counsel on day‑to‑day legal matters for business clients and teams.
Manage projects and coordinate efforts among legal staff.
Monitor new laws, regulations, and case law; offer proactive advice and counsel regarding its impact on the company.
Education
Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the Delaware State Bar.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of proven litigation experience or strong litigation‑type skills, including case strategy, research, advocated, and case management under pressure.
First‑ or second‑chair jury trial experience preferred.
Experience with insurance defense preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LexisNexis (preferred), and internet research.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff.
Capacity to manage a substantial case load.
Comfortable working remotely and willing to travel within Delaware.

Compensation Annual salary range: $85,600.00 – $152,650.00, based on experience and qualifications.
