The Brella Co. is looking for a Head of Finance & Accounting
to help build and manage the financial backbone of a growing multi-company platform.
This role blends hands-on accounting and bookkeeping
with strategic finance , including multi-entity structuring, ownership and equity modeling, and long-term financial planning.
What You’ll Do
Oversee accounting and bookkeeping across The Brella Co. and its subsidiaries
Own monthly closes, reconciliations, and clean financials
Manage AP, AR, payroll, and intercompany transactions
Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning
Build ownership, equity, and vesting models
Partner with founders, operations, and legal on scalable systems
What We’re Looking For
3–5+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
Experience managing multiple entities
Strong knowledge of AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
Strategic, detail-oriented, and systems-minded
Nice to Have
Experience in construction, home services, or real estate
Familiarity with Buildertrend, ServiceTitan, or Gusto
Experience in high-growth or multi-company environments
