Major Responsibilities
Responsible for the development of strategic direction for the Radiology services at AH with oversight of the quality, service levels, cost and operational integrity; regulatory compliance and accreditation; effectiveness of Radiology support for AH clinical and mission-based programs; and advancing AH’s Enterprise Imaging strategy.
Responsible for physician and nursing relations; coordination of Radiology services with clinical programs; direction of technical operations, radiation safety, chemical hygiene and safety programs; development and execution of the quality plan; and compliance with NRC, OSHA, Joint Commission, FDA and other applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies.
Works closely with Enterprise leadership to identify and predict the data and analytic needs of the enterprise and proactively work to ensure that this information is delivered in an actionable and timely manner.
Partner with executive ambulatory leadership to build, test, and disseminate best practices for delivery of primary care and preventative health services.
Partner with clinical service line and business unit executive leadership to provide clinical and analytical insight/vision to advance plan development, execution and evaluation.
Develop relationships with and provide mentorship to clinical researchers across the System to promote implementation science, comparative effectiveness research, health services research, health economics, complexity science, bioinformatics, and epidemiology.
Maintain a portfolio of externally and internally funded research initiatives that support the mission of the enterprise.
Publish and present findings at national or international meetings that demonstrate AH as a leader in implementation science and care transformation.
Work with the Community Outreach team to provide clinical insight and demonstrate the use of outcomes data to engage the community, identify opportunities to improve community health, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and investments made by AH in this domain.
Minimum Job Requirements Education
Advanced degree (i.e.; MHA, MBA) in health care or business administration

Experience
Typically requires 10 years of progressively more responsible radiology management experience; experience within an integrated health care system is desirable
Considerable experience in complex radiology operations, including hospital-based and free-standing facilities
Solid understanding of the acute care environment is essential
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with all members of the health care team
Proven track record of excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and respond creatively to a rapidly changing environment
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Work requires walking, standing, and sitting.
Works in an office environment and interacts with a variety of employees and patients.
Works in an analytical, physical and managerial environment.
Strenuous physical effort may be required while assisting patients from wheelchairs, stretchers, etc. Each employee has the responsibility to work in a safe manner
