This individual will establish the company's construction processes, hire and develop the field and project teams, and ensure that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, on budget, and with exceptional quality. The ideal candidate brings both strategic vision and the ability to execute at a detailed operational level.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Organizational Leadership

Hire key personnel, establish systems, and develop company-wide standards and procedures.

Mentor and develop Construction Managers, Community Directors, and Service Managers across the organization.

Manage the full life cycle of all construction and CapEx activities including pre-construction, bidding and contracting, site construction activities, equipment delivery, acceptance, and commissioning.

Collaborate closely with executive leadership on business strategy, project execution, and operational readiness.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation aligned with company values.

Project Execution

Establish and manage capital project budgets, vendor scheduling, staffing plans, and performance metrics.

Conduct regular construction inspections to monitor ongoing progress, adherence to plans, quality control, and schedule. Partner with the contractor or vendor as necessary to address issues as they arise and to maintain project schedule.

Deliver regular performance updates to senior leadership.

Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery.

Provide hands‑on leadership in resolving site challenges, optimizing resources, and maintaining client satisfaction.

Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring that the project scope is understood by all parties involved.

Establish and manage detailed productivity KPIs and dashboards across projects to ensure performance visibility.

Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with company performance and safety expectations.

Own the full administrative process from bid through final completion.

Process Development and Continuous Improvement

Design and implement scalable construction management systems, tools, and reporting frameworks.

Develop and maintain best practices for safety, quality control, and cost management.

Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability across Construction Operations.

Provide constructability input to engineering and pre‑construction teams to optimize designs for field execution and cost efficiency.

Ability to lead both strategically and operationally with a deep understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship building skills, and hands‑on leadership in field environments.

Ability to travel frequently to project sites and partner locations.

Proven ability to multi‑task, change priorities, and handle pressure to meet deadlines.

Comfortable with confronting issues, making decisions, and resolving conflicts.

Leads through influence, sets clear expectations, and sustains productive relationships with ownership, consultants, and contractors alike.

Some things we can't live without:

10-15+ years of experience leading Facilities and Construction organizations with a focus on large‑scale capital improvement projects

Preferred Bachelor's degree in related field

Proven ability to build and scale construction operations on a large‑scale environment

Ability to read drawings and schedules in order to apply construction sequencing

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word)
