Accounts Payable Specialist
part-time.
PLEASE NOTE:
This role requires a 10-hour shift per work week. It would be highly desirable if candidates have experience with
PROCAS
payroll software or
Unanet
government contract accounting software. Must also be equipped to
plan and handle high-volume transactions processing
with exceptional accuracy and meticulous follow-through. Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely processing of all account payable invoices and credit card reconciliation. Responsible for keeping track of all of Accounts Payable email inquiries. Process payments to vendors. Respond to all vendor inquiries on a timely manner. Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies. Where required, assist in monthly manual check entries and other month end related tasks. Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices. Assist with other projects as needed. Qualifications
0-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable. Associate or bachelor’s Degree: Often in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Experience using DCAA approved accounting system (Deltek Costpoint or Procas preferred).
