Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr - $77,000.00/yr
Boston Post Adoption Resources is seeking a Full-Time Clinician to join our clinical team! Boston Post Adoption Resources, also known as BPAR, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded to support all individuals and families who are touched by adoption. Since 2012, BPAR has provided specialized trauma‑informed individual and group therapeutic care and culturally sensitive support. We connect people to post‑adoption resources and educate the public about the impacts of adoption. Through our services, BPAR invites those touched by adoption to join our community in an environment that encourages lifelong healing.
BPAR was founded to support ALL of those who are touched by adoption. We offer assistance to individuals, couples, and families in a unique and safe space that addresses the issues that adoption brings. We see birth families, adoptees, adoptive and foster care parents, siblings as well as any other individual touched by adoption or out‑of‑home placement. Over half of the population that we serve are transracial adoptees. We provide several clinical therapeutic services for members of the adoption constellation including:
Individual Therapy
Family Therapy
Short Term and Long Term Group Therapy
Support During Birth Family Searches
Reunions and Assisted Visits
This is a full‑time salaried position (Monday‑Friday, evenings required).

Salary: 65,000‑77,000 dependent on licensure and experience
Requirements:
Licensed preferred (LICSW, LMHC, Clinical Psychologist Ph.D/Psy.D, LMFT) but not required
Must be open to working with kids, adolescents, parents and adults
Clinical experience working with trauma
Clinical experience working with out‑of‑home placement, adoption, and/or foster care is strongly recommended
Flexibility, independence, a team player, open to feedback, and willingness to learn is a must
Must be willing and competent to practice with Telehealth
Must be committed to cultural humility
Must be able to work evenings: 11am‑7pm Monday‑Friday, opportunity for some flexibility on Fridays
Must be committed to agency supported ongoing education regarding adoption/adoption trauma
Responsibilities:
Maintain a caseload of approximately 25 clients a week, (including individual, group and family therapy)
Maintain up‑to‑date clinical paperwork
Participate in supervision to maintain clinical skills
Attend 3 BPAR Meetings (Peer Supervision, Staff and Clinical Meetings)
Contribute to agency blogs
This is a hybrid role and you must be in the office at least 3 days per week.

BPAR pays for all Continuing Education Units (CEUs) needed for licensing requirements. In addition, BPAR provides quarterly staff trainings
2 weekly hours of supervision (both peer and individual licensed supervision), including EMDR, Trauma‑Informed and Dance Movement/Art therapy specialities are offered as part of the salaried position for all clinicians
