Role Description HBH is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Organization’s next
Director of Talent Management
to lead the full scope of human resources functions across the organization. This Executive Leadership Position reports directly to the CEO and plays a critical part in shaping organizational culture, ensuring legal compliance, and cultivating a high-performing workforce to support Horizon’s mission.
The Director of Talent Management is responsible for providing vision, leadership, and oversight of all human resources services, policies, and programs at Horizon. This includes employment law compliance, job classification, compensation and benefits, payroll oversight, HR policy development and implementation, performance management, staff development, organizational culture initiatives, and talent acquisition and retention. The Director serves as a key advisor to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and managers on HR best practices, employment law, risk mitigation, and organizational development.
Qualifications The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, or a related field and has a minimum of 10 years of progressive, professional level HR experience with a strategic, policy‑making background, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position. SPHR certification (HRCI), SHRM‑SCP or comparable certification designed for leaders with a strategic, policy‑making background preferred.
