Base Pay Range $170,000.00/yr - $215,000.00/yr
Pay Transparency Disclosure: The expected annual salary range for this position is USD 170000.00 - USD 215000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.

Role Overview The position provides legal review, advice, and support on a broad range of legal matters including commercial contracting, interactions with state and federal authorities, and general legal advice for a sizeable manufacturing business in a B2B environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with all business functions under supervision of General Counsel NA, actively assisting the company in achieving business objectives.
Demonstrate strategic value and competence in applying legal skills to daily corporate, business, compliance, and other matters.
Develop responsibility for a diverse range of commercial, legal, and compliance matters, including high‑profile, complex matters.
Provide drafting, negotiation, and guidance on commercial contracts and other legal matters with client‑centric service.
Operate within a fast‑paced, collegial legal department, handling multiple matters and managing projects and contract negotiations independently and as part of a team.
Provide solution‑oriented guidance, building close partnerships with business leaders and teams.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, outside counsel, business partners, and stakeholders, while maintaining professional ethics and integrity.
Work in a hybrid format (3 days per week from Symrise's Saddlebrook, New Jersey office).
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from a recognized law school.
7 years’ experience, ideally with both law firm and in‑house counsel background, working on a variety of commercial contracts and matters.
Excellent drafting skills, client and customer service orientation, and high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
Outstanding verbal and written communication, analytical, and people skills.
Collegial, service‑oriented, proactive attitude with a drive to learn and improve.
