Memory Care Activities Director (Inspire Connections Program Director)

Our Memory Care Activities Directors ( Inspire Connections Program Directors ) are responsible for:

Ensuring operational performance and regulatory compliance.

Maintaining records and documentation per policy.

Assisting RCD/GHD in training all Garden House Team Members.

Communicating with families regarding residents’ engagement.

Evaluating incoming residents and periodic re‑evaluations to ensure interests and activity needs are met.

Coordinating daily activity routines and specialized activities.

Planning and organizing dementia‑appropriate activities, social events, and outings.

Ordering supplies and setting up all activities in the Garden House.

Providing daily status reports on Garden House residents.

Ensuring the neighborhood is clean, orderly, and secure in all common and activity areas.

Assisting with housekeeping, laundry, and meals as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Resident Satisfaction:

Creating and maintaining the highest standards of Garden House activities.

Meeting with residents and families regularly.

Ensuring activity needs are met with attention to individuality and dignity.

Training Garden House team members in the Inspire Connection activity program.

Acknowledging residents’ special days and coordinating holiday celebrations.

Tracking resident activity participation and adjusting calendar events accordingly.

If you are someone with:

A high school diploma or GED.

Two years’ experience in dementia care.

Senior living experience (preferred).

Ability to meet all background check requirements.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
