CFP . With multiple offices across the U.S. and a collaborative team of seasoned professionals, this firm delivers truly personalized service and strategic advice to high-net-worth clients.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a firm Partner to take on new and existing relationships in support of the Partners succession plan. There is no requirement to bring in a client base with you. This role requires in-office ability in beautiful Traverse City to meet with clients.

What Youll Be Doing: Cultivate and manage high-net-worth client relationships with trust and integrity. Deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions: investment, tax, estate, and retirement planning. Serve as a relationship manager, ensuring proactive, customized advice aligned with client goals. Engage the next generation of clients to secure long-term relationship continuity. Work with a support team to enhance client service and efficiency. Drive business growth via client referrals, strategic networking, and community involvement. Collaborate with in-house and external specialists to provide seamless service. Maintain fiduciary standards and strong compliance practices. Present financial plans, analyze portfolios, and introduce prospective clients to the firm. Represent the firm in events, workshops, and presentations as needed.
What Were Looking For: Bachelors degree required; Masters or advanced credential a plus. 10+ years of client-facing experience in wealth management, financial planning, or tax. CFP designation required; CPA, CFA, ChFC, CIC, or PFS also considered. Strong grasp of investments, retirement planning, estate strategies, and tax concepts. Proven ability to acquire and retain clients through sales, relationship-building, and referrals. Experience with financial planning tools like eMoney. Exceptional communication, analytical, and presentation skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative, client-first attitude.
