Clinical Director (Behavioral Health - Residential) Full‑time, permanent opportunity to lead a residential behavioral health program serving children in a mission‑driven nonprofit organization.

POSITION OVERVIEW

– The Clinical Director oversees clinical integrity, compliance, and effectiveness of residential programs, works closely with executive leadership to ensure high‑quality, compliant, and compassionate care.

Provide clinical leadership and oversight for residential behavioral health programs serving children.

Supervise, mentor, and support managers, clinicians, and direct care staff across multidisciplinary teams.

Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards, including child welfare and mental health requirements.

Oversee clinical program design, implementation, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement.

Partner with executive leadership and external agencies to support coordinated, ethical, and effective service delivery.

Support staff training, performance management, and professional development aligned with best practices.

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, child development, or a related field.

Active and valid California LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist license (required).

Clinical experience within residential and/or child‑serving behavioral health settings.

Supervisory experience leading clinical or multidisciplinary teams.

Strong knowledge of DSM‑V, evidence‑based therapeutic interventions, and child protection systems.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

– Salary range $115,000–$130,000, depending on experience. Benefits include paid time off, holidays, and additional nonprofit‑structured benefits.
