Group Description TD Securities' Financial Sponsors Group (FSG) covers North American and global private equity, infrastructure, pension and sovereign wealth funds, providing financing solutions and proprietary ideas.

Position Vice President for the Financial Sponsors Group in San Francisco, CA, supporting coverage of large‑cap, tech‑focused sponsors.

Job Description / Responsibilities

Develop transaction ideas and discuss appropriate context with senior coverage members.

Generate and execute revenue across all product areas.

Demonstrate market, industry and product knowledge.

Create and deliver impactful presentations.

Maintain client relationships and provide updates on deal progress.

Inform senior M&A and coverage officers on deal progress and issues.

Execute deals, contributing to increased revenue.

Promote a respectful work environment in accordance with bank policies.

Maintain client confidentiality.

Support senior coverage in transaction execution and deal structuring.

Provide recommendations and structuring for revenue generation and deal management.

Liaise and maintain client relationships.

Act as a specialist on sponsor tech portfolios, requiring deep technical knowledge.

Lead and mentor junior staff, providing training and mentorship.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Series 79 and 63 licenses

Experience on a Financial Sponsors, Technology/Software coverage or Tech Leveraged Finance team

5‑7 years of relevant experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic and high attention to detail

Ability to balance multiple priorities in a team setting

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in comparable company, precedent transaction, DCF, merger and LBO analysis

Commitment to leadership, integrity and relationship building
