This role is critical for ensuring efficient operations within our logistics network. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory procedures, conducting regular audits, investigating discrepancies, and managing stock levels to optimize warehouse efficiency and minimize errors. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and refine inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Manage the receiving and put-away process to ensure accurate inventory recording.
- Track the movement of inventory within the warehouse.
- Generate reports on inventory accuracy, turns, and other key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (WMS) and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics best practices.
- Ability to train and guide warehouse staff on inventory procedures.
- Must be able to perform duties involving lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally.
