Responsibilities:
  • Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure data accuracy.
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Implementing and improving inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Monitoring stock levels and identifying reorder points to prevent stockouts.
  • Tracking the movement of inventory within the warehouse, including receipts, transfers, and shipments.
  • Analyzing inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinating with purchasing and operations teams to manage stock levels effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations related to inventory storage and handling.
  • Assisting in the training of new staff on inventory control procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a similar logistics role.
  • Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including some Lifting and moving of inventory.
  • Knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be comfortable wearing required PPE.
