Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure data accuracy.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Implementing and improving inventory control procedures and policies.
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying reorder points to prevent stockouts.
- Tracking the movement of inventory within the warehouse, including receipts, transfers, and shipments.
- Analyzing inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinating with purchasing and operations teams to manage stock levels effectively.
- Maintaining accurate records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations related to inventory storage and handling.
- Assisting in the training of new staff on inventory control procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a similar logistics role.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including some Lifting and moving of inventory.
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with Safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be comfortable wearing required PPE.
