The Inventory Control Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of inventory management principles and logistics. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing process improvements to ensure optimal inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles. Must be comfortable with some lifting and moving of inventory. A strong focus on safety and operational excellence is required.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and report on potential shortages or overages.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate stock movements.
- Manage the return process and ensure proper disposition of returned goods.
- Train other staff members on inventory control best practices.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE and safe material handling techniques for lifting and moving inventory within our logistics operation.
