Our Jacksonville, Florida facility is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to oversee and manage all aspects of our inventory. This critical role ensures the accuracy of our stock levels, the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing goods, and the optimization of warehouse space. You will be responsible for implementing and refining inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies. Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics are essential. This position plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by guaranteeing product availability and minimizing stockouts. You will work with cutting-edge inventory management software and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Previous experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role. Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with various inventory counting methods. Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles. Ability to perform lifting of up to 30 lbs. Must understand and adhere to all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving inventory issues is key. Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee the receiving and put-away process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and product disposition.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper handling of materials and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to forecast demand and plan inventory needs.
- Train and mentor junior inventory staff on procedures and best practices.
