Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team in Jacksonville, Florida, as an Inventory Control Specialist. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust inventory control systems, conducting meticulous cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and optimizing stock placement for efficiency. Your expertise will directly impact our logistics operations, ensuring product availability and minimizing costly errors. We seek a highly organized and analytical individual with a proven track record in inventory management. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular and accurate cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Develop, implement, and refine inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status, identifying potential shortages or overages.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend improvements.
  • Oversee the accuracy of receiving and put-away processes.
  • Manage product rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and ensure efficient use of warehouse space.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to align inventory strategies with operational demands.
  • Prepare reports on inventory status, accuracy, and related key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role. Strong understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Must have a strong knowledge of logistics principles. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all PPE requirements is essential. Proven ability to develop and implement inventory control strategies. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is highly desirable.
