Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with company policies and Safety regulations.
- Train and mentor new warehouse associates on procedures and best practices.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Liaise with other departments, suppliers, and transportation providers.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational metrics.
- Implement and enforce the use of required PPE for all staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform manual tasks and operate warehouse equipment.
- Proficiency in Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of Logistics best practices.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
