Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role in Sacramento, California? We are hiring Picker/Packers to join our growing logistics team. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your efficiency and precision are key to our customer satisfaction. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or digital scanners.
• Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
• Verify order accuracy before packing and labeling.
• Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
• Identify and report any damaged or missing items.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including receiving and stocking.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
• Meet or exceed productivity targets for picking and packing.
• Understand and follow proper lifting procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
