Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves and designated locations using order pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Carefully pack picked items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection and proper labeling.
- Verify order accuracy, checking item codes, quantities, and product descriptions.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking and packing goals.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory or equipment immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
