Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick designated items from warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify product identity and quantity before placing items in the order tote or on the pallet.
- Ensure picked items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Transport picked orders to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation activities as directed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking targets.
- Operate pallet jacks and other necessary warehouse equipment safely.
- Report any issues with inventory, equipment, or safety to supervision immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse/logistics role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product information accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
