Job Summary:
Join our busy warehouse in Baltimore, Maryland, as an Order Picker. This key role involves accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and accuracy are critical to our supply chain operations and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include using order sheets or scanners to locate products, carefully picking items, ensuring correct quantities, and transporting them to the packing station. Safety is paramount; all team members are expected to strictly adhere to safety regulations and use appropriate PPE at all times. This position requires physical stamina, including standing and walking for extended periods, and the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. Experience with order picking equipment, such as pallet jacks or electric pallet movers, is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications.
- Use RF scanners to track picked items and update inventory.
- Ensure the correct quantity and item are picked for each order.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Meet daily picking quotas and performance goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists or scanner data.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and PPE.
