Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an order picking system (e.g., RF scanner).
- Verify product codes and quantities against order sheets.
- Consolidate picked items and prepare them for the packing station.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and item numbers accurately.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners is a plus.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE in logistics.
