Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Collaborate with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Manage the put-away process to ensure items are stored in the correct locations.
- Identify and report damaged or expired stock.
- Assist in developing and executing strategies to minimize inventory loss.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with cycle counting and physical inventory procedures.
- Ability to perform some manual tasks and lifting, up to 40 pounds.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE.
