Are you an experienced professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency in warehouse management? We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of our inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and optimizing warehouse space. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and working closely with the logistics team to streamline operations. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Collaborate with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Manage the put-away process to ensure items are stored in the correct locations.
  • Identify and report damaged or expired stock.
  • Assist in developing and executing strategies to minimize inventory loss.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with cycle counting and physical inventory procedures.
  • Ability to perform some manual tasks and lifting, up to 40 pounds.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE.
