Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments and receive goods accurately.
- Verify received items against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Pack, label, and stage outgoing orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments.
- Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE .
- Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal departments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE .
- Understanding of warehouse and Logistics best practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
