Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Shipping & Receiving Associate for our San Antonio, Texas facility. This dual-role position is critical to the efficient flow of goods into and out of our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents, stocking inventory, and preparing outgoing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Shipping & Receiving Associate for our San Antonio, Texas facility. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents, stocking inventory, and preparing outgoing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Verify packing slips against received goods and report discrepancies.
- Stock received inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods.
- Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse and Logistics tasks as needed.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 60 lbs).
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of Logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
