Job Summary:
Our logistics hub in St. Louis, Missouri is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate. This role is essential for managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all operations. You will be responsible for unloading incoming shipments, meticulously verifying contents against order documents, and stocking received items appropriately. For outgoing shipments, you will accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for dispatch. Maintaining precise inventory records through cycle counts and stock verification is also a key responsibility. You will work closely with our logistics team to coordinate transportation and ensure timely deliveries. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position requires physical capability, including frequent Lifting and standing, and strict adherence to all safety protocols and the use of necessary PPE. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Verify contents of shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Accurately enter received goods into the inventory management system.
  • Pick, pack, and label outgoing orders for shipment.
  • Stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.
  • Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:
Must possess the physical ability to perform tasks including frequent Lifting of up to 60 lbs and standing for extended periods. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred. Familiarity with inventory control principles and logistics is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are critical. Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment is paramount. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
