Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify outgoing shipments against order documents.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipping, selecting appropriate materials.
- Generate and apply shipping labels and documentation.
- Coordinate with various shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS, LTL freight).
- Schedule pickups and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain organized shipping records and logs.
- Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks and box sealers.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including proper lifting methods and the mandatory use of PPE .
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers regarding shipping status.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics and shipping department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar warehouse/logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and carrier portals.
- Ability to perform regular lifting of packages up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of shipping regulations and best practices within logistics .
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
