Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Manage and motivate warehouse staff.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, and dispatching.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Implement and enforce the correct use of PPE.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure operational readiness.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate training for new hires on warehouse procedures and Safety.
- Tasks will include overseeing tasks that involve significant Lifting and material handling.
- Ensure the smooth execution of all Logistics functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of Logistics principles.
- Proficiency in Safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Ability to manage tasks involving significant Lifting and physical demands.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
