Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Supervise and train warehouse personnel, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with transportation providers and other departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations, including proper PPE usage and safe lifting practices.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules.
- Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) software effectively.
- Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity and accuracy.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and PPE compliance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including some lifting, as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
