Order Picker

Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team as an Order Picker in Huntsville, Alabama! We are looking for meticulous and efficient individuals to accurately select products for customer orders. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our Logistics department, ensuring timely and correct order fulfillment. You will use scanning technology and follow specific instructions to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves. A strong emphasis on workplace Safety, accuracy, and the ability to perform tasks that involve regular Lifting are paramount. You must be committed to adhering to all Safety protocols and wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists and scanners.
• Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
• Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
• Maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
• Use required PPE correctly and consistently.
• Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
• Be prepared for tasks that involve frequent Lifting of products up to 50 lbs.
• Support the efficient execution of our Logistics operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and interpret pick lists.
• Must be capable of performing tasks involving frequent Lifting.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
